I’m a data scientist. A lot of my time goes to platform, DS workflow, and AI tooling — enabling the team beats shipping one more model myself. Currently Lead Data Scientist / Tech Lead at CVS Health, working on how we guide our members toward better health choices — part IC on the harder problems, part tech lead for a group I’d happily work with anywhere.

I’ve been at this since 2017. The first stretch was Domio, a travel startup where the data scientist also wrote the pipelines, the API, and most of the dashboards — because there wasn’t anyone else. That shaped the way I work. I’d rather learn the thing the problem needs than insist on the tool I already know, and I tend to measure progress in things that are concretely better at the end of the week.

Outside of work I build furniture — moving up the difficulty curve one piece at a time — and grow vegetables, now ~210 sqft of garden beds with a learning curve that pays out in dinner. This site is the same instinct: a redesign mostly so I had an excuse to play with the current state of the art. Two kids round out the chaos.
